વલસાડ જીલ્લાના વિવિધ પોલીસ સ્ટેશનોમાં ગુજરાત પશુ સંરક્ષણ (સુધારા) અધિનિયમ-2017 મુજબ વિવિધ પ્રકારના વાહનોની જપ્તી કરવામાં આવી હતી. જેની 17મી જાન્યુઆરીએ હરાજી કરવામાં આવી હતી. જે હરાજીમાં વલસાડ જીલ્લાના તથા જીલ્લા બહારના મળી કુલ- 147 વેપારીઓએ ભાગ લીધો હતો. વાહન હરાજીમાં વાપી ડીવીઝનના કુલ- 15 વાહનોની કી.રૂા. 82,97000/- તથા વલસાડ ડીવીઝનના કુલ-04 વાહનોની કી.રૂા. 4,77000/- મળી કુલ-19 વાહનોની કી.રૂા. 87,74000/- ની કીંમત ઉપજી હતી.
આ અંગે વલસાડ પોલીસે અખબારીયાદી મુજબ આપેલ વિગતમાં જણાવ્યું છે કે, સુરત રેન્જ IG પ્રેમવિર સિંહ તથા વલસાડ જીલ્લા પોલીસ અધિક્ષક ડૉ. કરનરાજ વાધેલાની વલસાડ જીલ્લાના વિવિધ પોલીસ સ્ટેશનોમાં ગુજરાત પશુ સંરક્ષણ (સુધારા) અધિનિયમ-2017 મુજબ સરકાર ખાલસા કરવામાં આવેલ વાહનોની નિયમોનુસાર SOP મુજબ હરાજી કરવા કરેલ સુચના આપી હતી.
જેના માર્ગદર્શન મુજબ એ. કે. વર્મા, નાયબ પોલીસ અધિક્ષક, વલસાડ વિભાગ તથા બી. એન. દવે, નાયબ પોલીસ અધિક્ષક, વાપી વિભાગની અધ્યક્ષતામાં વાપી ડીવીઝન કચેરી ખાતે તારીખ 17/01/2025 ના વાપી ડિવીઝન તથા વલસાડ ડીવીઝનના પોલીસ સ્ટેશનોમાં ૫શુ સંરક્ષણ (સુધારા) અધિનિયમ-2017 મુજબ સરકાર ખાલસા કરેલ વાહનોની હરાજી કરવામાં આવી હતી. કુલ વાહનોની હરાજી અને તેના થકી ઉપજેલ રકમની વિગતો નીચે આપેલ કોષ્ટકમાં છે.
